soO it came unstitched? this kinda annoys me since it wasn't cheap.. the spooky kitty is very cute but i'm extremely disappointed as a long time build a bear collected (since the early 2000s). i have NEVER received a bear in such absurd condition.
it may be a result of save day delivery which i didn't realize i picked. i selected the cheapest option which was almost 9$ and i didn't pay much mind to it, thinking it was standard delivery (takes about a week on average from past experiences).. nope.. it came in 2 hours?? i don't know how since it said the nearest BAB to me didn't even offer it as in store pick up. (uber driver was probably speeding 😭) but i'm making this so those of you who ordered or want to are aware.
however the nice thing is i can adjust the stuffing amount which normally i have to do on my own anyways. i like my babs more plush and limp as opposed to the stiff, packed stuffing they usually deliver as.
THE BAB ITSELF: the fur texture is a more rough material akin to an old plush and i like that. however MOST people wouldn't enjoy it. i will likely be unstuffing it and hand washing it to soften the fur conditioner regardless to help with the coarseness. if people want me to post an update after i do later tonight i will.
the unstitched back may also be intentional on BABs part because a lot of people DONT like how they come stuffed and i theorize they did that so people could adjust it easier without going through the pain of ripping out the stitching
