Storytime: The karma was come.
I work at night. My job is the only thing that keeps my mind off the fact that the man who wants me to believe that I'm imagining shit is doing what I have the evidence he's doing. I work as long as my manager will allow me to in the morning, and fear when I have no choice but to go home. I used to walk home because my car suddenly wouldn't start any more. I knew it was sabotage, but I couldn't prove it. He was more of an expert at cars than I was, so how could I possibly know, however now I ride a 50cc moped. A bribe for forgiveness that wasn't actually "mine" and I couldn't actually go out of town on it. Today, I looked down at my phone. He was calling me, which he never does. He's usually sneaking back home from his other girlfriend's place, to make it home and make it appear as if he'd been home all night. I'm sure not dumb enough to believe it though. I answer, and he's crying on the phone, telling me the car exploded and he needs me to get him an Uber home. It's 6am and he's 30 miles away. Now he can't deny it. Her told me he doesn't remember where he went, all he knows is that he woke up in the mud, having been thrown out of the driver's side window. The love bombing attempt has commenced. " Baby, baby! " " I need you! " I don't care any more. How many nights did you go see your other girl but deny she existed. You're secret apartment, yet asking me for money because you were desperately broke, shaming me for bad habits, embarrassing me in front of people, smear campaigns, giving away all of my stuff. Fuck you. I only stay because I'm too lazy to move. Hard to move my two suitcases in my moped anyway. Too expensive to live in a hotel in a vacation town. So maybe I can give him his karma, first hand.
