Keeping light always on / on in the night

I like the pura but the "night light" is very frustrating. I would like to have the light on every night without the scent, but I'm also fine with having the light be always on (without the scent).

The problem is that whenever I turn on the light, it turns off after the next scent cycle. Would love any tips for getting around this!
