Riding NYC to Montauk

I plan on riding from the city to montauk this weekend. I wanted to spend the night Saturday and take the LIRR back Sunday morning however all the campsites I see are booked up and I don’t want to spend 400$ for a room for the night. Anyone know of any stealth camping spots or cheap places to crash?
