VW Golf Mk8 Clutch Noise

Nearly new 2020 VW Golf, clutch pedal makes a creaking/spring noise, car driving fine its the spring return on the pedal itself.

Dealer claimed they replaced pedal spring under warranty today, but noise is still there. Car was only with them for 2 days, work supposedly done in 2 hours based on what the advisor said around delivery of parts.

Not confident they actually did anything. Can I spray PTFE lube myself on pedal spring? Anyone else had this issue or a proper fix?
