Dropping my lowest year - including summer?

Hi, I know that UBC drops your lowest year or 30 credits (from what I heard) If I want to drop my first year does it mean it also drops my summer courses I took during first year Because my academic standing is 2nd year, but the summer courses are first year courses

I’m very confused
