Reel suggestions

Im looking for 2 reels, I fish bass, panfish, crappie, catfish, once in a while ill hook a northern or something real nice. I pond, river, and pier fish mostly

My main childhood reel finally decided to retire mid cast without notice so im looking

Im set on the diawa regal lt 2500 for my main 6’8 medium fast action rod

My question is will my 7’2 medium fast action I use for bass and bigger, benefit from the same diawa regal or should I look into budget is 70-100 each.

Apologies but I’ve never had to buy a reel outside of picking a random cheap combo in a color I like
