Do you get sketchy offers for rating/follow swaps?

I only started my story on Monday and I've already had one writer ask me to trade follows, and another just sent me a message saying they'd given me a 5 star rating and asking me to do the same. (No mention of actually reading. Pure quid pro quo.)

How common is this? Am I a prude for not taking advantage? I mentioned the 1st guy to someone on Discord and he ended up getting banned from RR. This latest one has a considerable body of work posted and stands to lose a lot more. Do I warn them? Report them?
