Yo just a thought. How does Team RWBY and JNPR passively positively benefit from having so and so as the leader?

So for example with Ruby as the leader I'm willing to bet that weapon maintenance would probably be in tip top shape.

While if Weiss were the leader of Team RWBY instead would have their academic grades be much much better.

What do you guys think?
