I’m really scared to have surgery

I’m 21 and have a SLAP tear in my right shoulder, the specialist i’m seeing suggested arthroscopic surgery to repair the labrum tear and biceps tenodesis after 3+ months of pt with no improvement. I have pain with day to day activities and struggle with overhead movement or even just stretching my arm. Realistically I know I need the surgery but I am terrified of the recovery. I cannot stop thinking of the worst outcomes. If anyone has had this surgery please comment any advice for me!!!
