Battle station + WFH Laptop sharing peripherals?
Moving into a new place soon, and i’m revamping my battle station. Currently I have my PC + 3 Monitors + KBM. In the future I will need to utilize a company laptop to work from home.
My main goal is to be able to utilize all the same peripherals (monitors & kbm) for my PC and laptop at the ease of plugging in 1 cord to the laptop and/or hitting a switch. I understand they won’t be able to be used simultaneously.
2 Machines & 1 set of peripherals.
Is there some sort of dock that all the peripherals plug into and connects to both laptop and PC. If my PC is off, can the laptop take control of peripherals and vice versa?
What’s the best work around to this? I feel like I’m missing something.
Worse case scenario: 1 monitor is wired to both laptop + PC. When WFH I change PC settings to not use that monitor. Then PC is running off 2 monitors and laptop is running off 1 monitor. Laptop would then need its own keyboard n mouse as well.
