Unifi Protect Options

I have a couple of spare G3 instant cameras that I'm not using in my home.

I rent a music studio that I have 24/7 access to. Recently, the landlord needed access to my room for maintenance and left the door unlocked. I'm not sure how long it was left open, but now I feel I need to put cameras in there.

In the studio, I don't have access to any ethernet ports. It's just a private wifi that I have the password to. What are my options for running unifi protect and connecting my G3 instant cameras? Can I run protect on an old PC, or do I need official hardware? If I need, or it's recommended to use official hardware, what are the cheapest options, and can I do this without any ethernet access?
