“Sustainable” energy sources

I run a server for my friend group and we’re currently playing LL7, we have one friend who likes to play more basic mods and when it comes to power generation he only likes sustainable and environmentally friendly power, for example he is doing immersive engineering water and wind mills however these are awful in terms of the amount of power you get. Does anyone have any recommendations for decent power that fits this style?
