Dating a girl I really like but worried I won’t be able to cum due to sertraline. Should I tell her?
I’ve been talking to this girl for about two weeks now. We met recently and hit it off surprisingly well. There’s chemistry, she’s affectionate, funny, and honestly the first person I’ve felt genuinely attracted to in a long time. We’ve been texting every day and now she’s invited me to spend the night with her at a hotel. We’re planning to spend one or two days together, max, so it’s a short but potentially intense meet up.
Here’s the issue. I’m currently on sertraline (SSRI). I used to be on 150mg, but I recently tapered down to 100mg. Since the drop, I’ve had an easier time finishing during masturbation , like the other day, I came in about 5 minutes, which is better than before. But when it comes to sex, it’s still hit or miss. I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to cum during intercourse.
Thing is, I’m not that stressed about whether I cum or not. I just want her to enjoy the intimacy. But I am worried that if I don’t finish, she might take it personally or feel like she’s doing something wrong. That’s the last thing I want, especially since I really like her.
So my question is: should I give her a heads up beforehand so she knows what’s up, or just see how things go and only explain if it comes up? I don’t want to ruin the vibe or make things awkward by overthinking it.
