Rylie's understanding of Big Brother

During last night's episode I do not think I have ever been as shell shocked to hear a NOMINEE say "I want to win the veto to keep the noms the same so Katherine and I aren't on the block together."

Has he stated that he's ever watched the show before? I thought he had and had to pause the TV and process what he said.
