Question About Installing Mitsubishi SLZ-KF09NA Signal Receiver PAR-SF9FA-E

Im installing 2 SLZ09NA ceiling cassete units on a 4 zone system. Im attempting to install the Signal Receiver, PAR-SF9FA-E. I have it plugged in but get no lights to light when i put power to the unit. I called Mitsubishi support line and they think I have 2 defective signal recievers, this seems to be hard to believe that both signal receivers i have hooked up are bad. Anyone have advice on how to check to see if those signal recievers are working correctly. I attempted to purchase the after market remove in order to interface with it, I went back and bought the mitsubishi remote and waiting on that to arrive. Anything i can check on the signal receiver in the mean time to see if they are truly bad.
