Just started ds1. Need few tips

I’ve completed ds3 and blood borne. Now to this very fine game it’s all slow and it’s different. I need a good meta like the sellsword in ds3. And I picked the warrior class idk if it’s good. So help me to get op early and let me just experience goated game like a boss.
