I need help

Okay so basically I'm currently grinding to decorate a house and it's almost done. My bf let me play on his pc and everything worked perfectly fine until at some point the pets finished their tasks but I didn't get any money. I left and rejoined thinking it's js a bug but still didn't work. I did the house as far as I could w the money I had and bc I'm currently in the train omw back home my bf is playing on my acc to grind more, still on his Pc. He texted me that at first he did get money but then all of the sudden once again not anymore. I currently can't look if it works on my phone but is this a bug and if yes how can I/my bf fix it? :')
