Low RHR, early pregnancy?
I'm early in my pregnancy and feeling concerned about my low resting heart rate (RHR). Before I got pregnant, my RHR averaged 39 BPM. I know that's low, but I'm healthy and used to run 6-7 times a week. However, my nausea and dizziness are making it hard to keep up with my running routine these days! 😅
During my first pregnancy in 2023, I wasn't as fit, but I still ran a lot. My average RHR then was 50 BPM, and it quickly increased in the early weeks, even reaching the 100s during simple walks.
Now, with my second baby, I’m not seeing the same increase. My RHR while sitting is in the 50s and sometimes climbs to the 80s with mild activity. This is unusual for me and feels low compared to my previous pregnancy.
Has anyone else experienced a higher RHR in their first pregnancy and a lower RHR in their second? If so, did everything turn out okay for you?
