#1 (unlocked at rank 1): The Dimetrodon's large dorsal sail was its key identifying feature, likely used to recognize other individuals or during courtship.

#2 (unlocked at rank 6): Dimetrodon means "two measures of teeth". This is because its teeth began to specialize for different roles, with incisors to tear chunks of meat and canines to grip onto prey.

#3 (unlocked at rank 11): Although it looked like and is often mistaken for a dinosaur, Dimetrodon was actually an early synapsid. Therefore, it was more closely related to mammals than it was to any reptile!

#4 (unlocked at rank 16): The Dimetrodon's natural habitat consisted of a sprawling wetland system, where it lived as an apex predator. It may have preyed on fish, amphibians, and other synapsids.
