Can the Terminator still finish his mission in Terminator 2 if John Connor got replaced with Harambe?

In alternate universe, a gorilla is chilling on his enclosure when suddenly the enclosure gates bursts open, a man with shining jacket, black glasses and a shotgun extends his hands and says 'Come with me if you want to live'- The reason? Skynet was the Gorilla dead, and sent a T-1000 back in time to kill him so the resistance is never born.

Setup:

• Challenge starts in Cincinnati, Harambe follows Terminator instructions until they are out of the zoo, after that he reverts to his former self.
• T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is equipped with all the know ways in science to communicate with a Gorilla.
• He needs to take Harambe to Sarah Connor in Quebec.
