Lip tie @ 4 months

So to keep it long story short I’ve had my suspicions that my baby had some sort tie because he struggles with breastfeeding. The doctors kept telling me he didn’t. He definitely does, and he’s 4 months. He hasn’t breastfed off me in 2 weeks, is it too late to get it corrected? Has anyone gone through this before? I’m worried maybe he might be too old now to learn latching again after I get his tie fixed.
