{HOMICIDE} ANITA BERGNER - WARNER ROBINS, GEORGIA 2013
This one is so puzzling to me as it was close to her home and the police department.
Details:
On October 5, 2013, Anita Bergner, a White 34-year-old female, was last seen around 4:30 AM, when she left her residence in Warner Robins, Georgia. Her body was found on October 17, 2013, in an abandoned house. She suffered blunt force wounds and there was evidence of strangulation. She was located in a bathroom and a recliner chair was placed in front of her body. The abandoned house was located only a few streets over from where she was last seen.
Anyone with information pertaining to this investigation are asked to contact the Warner Robins Police Department.

13WMAZ spoke with Bergner's mom and friend, and the lead detective on the case to find out more. She used to live over on North 5th Street, but she was found on Curtis Street just down the road from the police department.
