FSR Battlefield 6

Hello everyone,

I have a 7900 XTX with a 5900X and I figured I would be able to run battlefield six open beta quite smoothly while remaining native 4K 120 FPS Cap, but that was not the case.

I ended up trying FSR for my first time. I noticed instantly the performance got way better even in the quality mode. I was actually able to pretty much max out all the graphics settings and still be stable 120 FPS, no fluctuation.

My main question is when I enabled the setting, does it automatically lower my resolution and then upscale as I kept the resolution at 4K?

From reading online, people are saying that you want to lower your game resolution and then enable FSR and it will upscale. But after experiencing the huge performance gain, when monitoring my metrics, it made me wonder if it was automatically doing that for me.
