I’m considering a reduction (34DD/DDD) and have some questions!

Hi everyone! I was hoping to ask those who’ve undergone a reduction a few questions.

It’s something I’ve always wanted but the recovery time scares me ngl.

I think I’m a 34 DD/DDD, which seems small compared to the others in this sub. I’m 5’8 and 130lbs so I have a smaller frame and they’ve just never seemed to fit my body, or have ever felt like “ mine”. Even when I’m home alone it’s so uncomfortable to be braless, but at the same time I hate wearing anything with underwire or too strapped because it’s uncomfortable and digs into my skin. And regardless of what I wear I either look like a sack of potatoes or super promiscuous.

I guess my questions are,

Those who started with my size, how small were you able to go?

Do you think your recovery was easier/faster than those who had larger busts to start with?

Servers/bartenders, how long did you have to take off of work for recovery?

And, how many days did you need someone to stay with you? My only option at this moment is asking my dad to fly in from out of state and I know he would but the thought of a) telling him that I’m doing this and b) him having to worry about going into surgery seems AWFUL lol. I have a close friend who said she could help out but I don’t want to ask her to take care of me for more than like a day.

And lastly, are antibiotics during surgery required? I know it seems silly but I have terrible gut issues and I’ve had a bad reaction to antibiotics previously so I’m curious if it’s possible to opt out.
