Question about typewriter key arrangements

General Question

This provably overlaps with computer keyboards but is more relevant here than there. In keyboards, you have various types of staggering, row and column stagger in particular. With typewriters, each row of keys may be at a different relative height with an overall slant/staircase effect to the whole keyboard. Is there or what is the term for this aspect of a keyboard? I.e. the angle/elevation aspects?

Most electronic keyboards tend tk be flat because that is easy to build on a PCB, but that's not the case on typewriters. I'm mostly wondering if there's an official term for this as it seems like it would be a large component of the feel of a typewriter etc.
