Bizarre System Issues

So my friend has been on Linux now for a year & it was a rocky start with system crashes when his PC was AFK for to long, which we fixed with this boot parameter amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xfffd3fff . Some months later we removed it & everything continued to work great for a few months up to a year now.

But now his system has random boots where it will just freeze on the login screen & other random boots where the audio will start crackling. When he gets the audio crackling his whole system starts acting up like apps wont open or close & his PC will refuse to reboot. We even tried doing a reinstall & that freeze that randomly happens on the login screen of his install, happens everytime on entering the desktop of the live ISO.

- His Specs -

CPU: Ryzen 7800x3d

GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ 7900xtx

MOBO: ASRock B650E Taichi Lite

Any help would be appreciate, we've been trying to fix this for over a month or two now.
