What do my fiancée and I do after getting married?

I (27 female) and my fiancée (26 male) got engaged last year and started planning our wedding right afterwards. Due to a lot of our friends and family having to travel to us we decided to book our wedding in 2026. One of our good friends is officiating our wedding however, she is not a legal officiant so we have to legally get married prior to our 2026 wedding.

Due to this my fiancée and I tried to book our civil ceremony at the courthouse for the same date as our wedding next year however we were moving into a new house the same weekend so we were unable to do so. I asked the courthouse clerk let me know what future dates were available and it just so happened that there was an available date on the same day we had our engagement photoshoot booked. So I reached out to my photographer and together we made a plan to surprise my fiancée. He thinks we are going downtown in our area to get historic engagement photos but we are actually going to the courthouse to get married. I plan to tell him this outside of the courthouse to get his reaction in the photos. I am SO excited because we he always doing such grand romantic gestures for me so I am elated surprise him with the ultimate surprise!

We are going to the courthouse for 2pm - our ceremony will only be about 15 minutes long then we will take a walk along the beach nearby to complete our 1 hour photo session. While we are at the courthouse I have hired a company to go to our house to set up a picnic in our backyard (we have a large yard looking over a field) which will be set up for us to go home and watch the sunset and then have a movie night in our backyard afterwards. The problem is, I need to find something for us to do from 3pm to 7pm. We could go to the beach for a few hours and that is an option but it doesn’t seem very intimate bc it is always really busy and I kind of like the idea is staying dressed up afterwards. Any suggestions??
