How to get better?

Hey guys what’s going on, mid-endgame player here looking to improve. I have experience with most pvm 150 cox, 300 vardorvis, 200 gauntlet, etc etc.

I’m looking to step up into the next tier of gameplay- for example solo cox, colosseum, donofly yama, essentially grandmaster combat achievement tier stuff.

I’m hoping to get some anecdotes on what it took you or advice on how to get better. I find there to be no real ingame bridge to gap the skill it takes to kill vardorvis & donofly Yama. For example, do I just do a bunch of Yama then just try to go straight to tick perfect methods like donofly or are there other activities ingame that will help me transition to the tick perfect content?

I hope this post overall makes sense, I found it a little hard to word. TIA for any advice you have :)
