Why do some people think Frank loves his kids?
I am surprised by how comments say things like "Frank loves his kids, he just doesn't know how to show it." Nope. That's not how it works. Love shows through actions, not words. He had neither the words nor the actions. If a parent loves their kids but has trouble showing it, that love will still come through in other ways that aren't necessarily affectionate words or closeness. I've experienced this in my own life.
Frank is garbage. Unless I haven't reached that point in the show, when does he ever do something out of pure love for his kids, and not because it benefits him in some way? He doesn't say or do a single thing unless it's going to benefit him. Frank doesn't love anyone but himself.
If he's not a sociopath, he's absolutely a narcissist.
