[DELTARUNE spoilers]dumb question but why didnt kris do anything to stop the weird route?

am i missing something? cause kris obviously hates us for doing the weird route, but also makes no attmept to stop it even though they obviously can. they can hide things from us (the knife, x-slash), stop commands midway (when they bite their hand for instance) and they can just rip us out relatively spontaneously too (when we're reading the code)

the weird route also obviously isnt important to the plan they have with the knight because well. we can just. not do the weird route. so why is kris making no attempt to stop us when we're committing like the worst sin of all time. but does stop us when we're just being kind of mean.
