Feedback for the devs!

Battlefield 6

I dont like long reads so I will try to make this short!

CAPTURE FLAG

Not a serious issue but other battlefield games had a flag pole in conquest modes that went up/down based off capture rate and also changed flags based off the team capturing the zone. I sorta miss it!

I assume this change was because of the teams being Nato, PAX, ETC aka they arent representing a specific country so their isnt a flag to put?

Sniper Glint

You already confirmed your going to fix it, just wanted to say thank you for changing the sniper glint to be smaller in the future as in the beta it is definitely too big. I agree on not removing it entirely as well.

Class Symbol

Symbols such as the symbol for each class are too simplified and aren't easy to tell  which class is which just from a glance. For example a wrench would indicate engineer for a majority of people if that was the symbol instead of half circles.

Weather

To clarify I mean simple weather, rain, wind, etc. Maps such as Liberation Peak, despite taking place in a mountain, seemingly have no wind which make the map seem slightly off. This is a small thing but having weather on some maps or at certain points will improve immersion drastically!

Destruction

Alot of people have stated a single explosion are doing too much damage to walls and other things making it feel off. This IS NOT criticizing the effects, animations or visuals, those look amazing! I am specifically referring to how much destruction is being caused from a single explosion and how the damage caused by said explosion could be scaled back a little bit.

It feels strange when 1 granade launcher sometimes takes out the entire front of a building with only a single shot.

Now to explain why the scale of destruction is important let me express why I and many others love destruction. It is not simply because things explode, it is the partial realism and satisfaction on how things fall apart as well. For example take the Shipping Containers found in the port maps in both Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield Hardline.

In Hardline when destroying certain containers, a animation plays where they fall and topple making for a exciting event to happen during battle which sometimes adds additional cover or to help you squish enemies in your way expanding your tactical options on the battlefield. However in 2042 shipping containers are static, you can shoot one being moved around above on a crane and no matter how much you shoot it, it does not fall off the wires holding it.

Now making animations like those are expensive, time consuming and you already stated Battlefield 6 won't have any large scale levolution but in this case I am referring to smaller things. In other words, getting the scale of destruction is very important for immersion and realism. If you ever add a map with large objects hanging or in positions not tied down such as some shipping containers, it will be expected naturally to be able to bring down these objects or else it will feel jarring when your unable to.

Classes

Alot of people prefer weapon locked classes, why?

What made old-school Battlefield so good was the teamwork. If every class can use every weapon and heal themselves with stims, there’s no real reason to rely on your squad anymore. Locking weapons to classes brings back that need to work together, and that’s what made Battlefield special in the first place.

With open weapons, it will result in the only people working together are friends playing together instead of being able to rely on random teammates. If you can't rely on your teammates as much it can make the game annoying to a extent overtime.

Although you plan to have both open and locked for all the modes ingame to try and appeal for people who prefer one way or the other, this can just result in spreading thin the population in ghe game between the sane modes and when the game gets older, only having popular modes filled mostly with real players.

Due to people being scared of this possible issue when the game gets a bit older they wish you would just pick to just make it a closed weapon system aka to pick a specific lane.

Server Browser

Now this doesn't affect me personally because I am in the U.S. but that doesn't mean I shouldn't speak about it.

Basically the main issue is people who live in Australia and certain parts of the world would prefer to choose a server rather then go into matchmaking that will put them into a empty location based off region. You will make more money if players could choose where to go when the game gets older as they would stay longer to play and pay for things.

Then there are the other reasons like choosing servers with specific rules, map rotations, etc!
