How on earth do I keep the i5 Surface pro 7 cool?

[PRO7]

Yes, I know microsoft already make a fan model of the surface pro 7 but I sadly dont have it. I mean i guess I could change the thermal paste on my i5 model but i dont know how much of a difference that would make. My specific surface pro 7 overheats so badly that its ALMOST unusable, it idles at 70-80 degrees and just thermal throttles and struggles even with just chrome open.

I know its not meant to be the most powerful thing ever, i mean its also a 2-in-1 for a start but the level of performance im getting is just shocking, its worse than any other laptop and performs worse than its age, other than changing thermal paste and maybe trying to remove backround apps (which ive checked and there are barely any already), i have no ideas.

Thank you for your help!

(also on another note, yes i know this is probably stupid to think but just for my curiosity, is it TECHNICALLY possible to install the same fan the i7 model had into the i5 Surface pro 7? I mean you would probably have to change the heatsync to make it work but if you did that is it theoretically possible that you could plug in the fan with the fan headers, and make it work? Or would the bios just reject it.

Thank you again!
