Medication Start

Hey everyone,

I am 31 and got diagnosed with blended ADHD about a month ago. This week, I got my first prescription for Lisdexamfetamine. Initially it'll be 30mg going up to 50mg during the tritiation period.

I'd love to hear about people's experience with this medication. I am quite scared mainly because of the word amfetamine in it. I've never done drugs, tried alcohol, or smoked in my life as I've been deathly scared of getting addicted. The side effects of this medication do include addiction so I have no idea what to do.

Any advice would be welcome.
