Costco/Sams

Does anyone here have a Costco or Sam’s membership? We have a two person household and we don’t NEED a membership per se. But they offer several brands, sizes, and options that we can’t find at other stores. Plus cheaper gas. Anyone have any tips on how to avoid overconsumption and still utilize one of these memberships?
