Ok, here goes… I’m 49yo, MtF… been on HRT for a little over 18 months now. I get “ma’am’d” enough throughout the days, but it does come as a surprise when it happens. I think people are just being nice. And that’s ok. I quite like being clocked as trans. I don’t hide my trans-ness, and I’m in a safe enough place that I don’t worry TOO much about things, but I’ll admit that I like it when I’m told I pass better than I think I do. But my wife is my strongest ally… of course she’s gonna say that. Friends too…

I also get “sir’d” a fair bit…

I kinda hate it when people ask if they pass based on one or two pics… cuz even I can pass in my own eyes, if things are perfect. So I added more than a couple pics. There are pics with makeup, no makeup, full body pics, post-running/workout pics… just as candid as I can get (I’m old… being thorough is entrenched…).

Things to know: I’ve had phase 1 (of 3 phases) of my FFS (lots of structural stuff - hairline, brow, orbitals, cheeks, chin, jaw…). Phase 2 is coming in November, which is my rhino and neck lift/neck reduction (to clean up all the extra material from chin/jaw). And Phase 3 is my lip lift (in February). So you don’t need to tell me I need FFS. I’m on it. I guess this is just a check in to see where my brain is at. You can be honest…

My wife says I pass better than I think I do, but she’s contractually obligated to do so…
