[Ohio] GAL Question

I’m in OH. Some back story. I left my husband in June. I got a protection order. Went through he trial and was granted 5 years. His rights over our son were suspended. We’re working with a GAL. First meeting she was not prepared at all. Didn’t know I had a final protection order. Didn’t know he lost his rights. Didn’t even know what county it was all filed in. She wants me to communicate to my husband that our son is going to daycare. She said using an app. Is this normal? I have contacted my attorney in the mean time. Just want to hear from others.
