Clothes for newborns

Discussion

Please don't give me hate 😭

My baby is always in only a diaper unless we're going out somewhere. I'm wondering if this is bad or not normal? I cannot justify the extra work of unbuttoning/zipping up clothes for diaper changes and breastfeeding skin-to-skin, worrying when things get dirty, etc. My baby wakes up from sleep screaming, so I feel bad taking extra time to deal with clothes too.

Is there a reason why people have babies in outfits all the time? It's summer time and warm, so baby gets swaddled directly or held in a baby blanket.
