Weaning Breastfeeding

I am currently weaning my 2 yr old off of breastfeeding and was told to start ozempic to control my blood sugars and lose some weight, the child breastfeeds maybe once or twice a day, I try to limit it to about 15 mins each time and we’re working on decreasing it from that over the next 2 months as well, I just wanna know if I should wait til I’m completely done or if the child will be ok if I start now while I’m weaning
