Am I a jerk for this?

So in 10 grade there was a girl in my class who kept messing with and annoying me making it obvious that she likes me but I didn’t like her so one day when she was bothering me I stood up in frustration and told “ Will you leave me alone? I don’t like you and I think you are ugly “

She responded with “ she said my name and told that isn’t nice to say “ I walked away and told the substitute but he didn’t care and looked more annoyed than anything so I just got annoyed walk out of class.

I feel kinda bad that I did so many years ago. It’s just she kept bothering me. Years later After graduation she did try to contact me on Facebook and she has kinda gotten prettier but I ignored her message and then never spoke to her again.

Should I have responded? She really seemed to like me.
