I purchased a storage auction and found this Baltimore Ravens 30 pound weight plate with attached letter from Iron Grip Barbell Company.

Should I get it certified and how much do you think it’s worth?

The photo is a display of a letter from Iron Grip Barbell Company to Steve Saunders (Head Coach of Strength & Conditioning from 2016-early 2023) of the Baltimore Ravens regarding a "CUSTOM SAMPLE" of engraved weightlifting equipment, alongside an "IRON GRIP 30" weight plate.

The Letter: Dated January 31, 2018, the letter from Diane Andrade of Iron Grip Barbell Company addresses Steve Saunders of the Baltimore Ravens, discussing an engraving sample for a custom order. It emphasizes the intricate, hand-done engraving process and requests approval of the artwork. The requested colors for the artwork are purple, red, metallic gold, black, and white, matching the Ravens' team colors.

The Object: This is an "Iron Grip 30" item, a 30 lb. weight plate, customized with the Baltimore Ravens logo. Iron Grip Barbell Company is known for manufacturing high-quality, urethane-coated weight plates and dumbbells, and offers customization services to engrave logos onto their equipment.

The Connection: The letter and the weight plate together is a custom order placed by the Baltimore Ravens for gym equipment, possibly for their training facility, featuring their team branding by Iron Grip Barbell Company.
