DMC Crimson Vergil Style

I was playing as vergil in DMC 3 Crimson Mod and my Style levels up. However, when I go to the shop or save it still says level 1 (played till Agni and Rudra) and the discount to upgrade returns to as if I had just started. I'm just a little frustrated at this.
