NYC Substituting without Bachelors?

Any one know if its possible? I've been offered to do a sub to teacher transition as we wait for my certification but we are confused if I'd be able to do that route if I don't quite yet have my Bachelors yet. I graduate September 1st, I have all my credits in order, I have letter stating everything is in order to graduate by that date. Just wondering if its possible, can I offer that letter and transcript to be cleared?
