Shelves are for poor people. NO rich person has "shelves" in their bedroom.
Back before i lost most of my wealth to fartcoin (long story, make all the jokes you want ive heard them all.), I used to never understood why anyone in their right mind would build a shelf. Like if you want to put books on it, put a bookstand there. Or get a table or something. I never understood why anyone would ever need a shelf. It boggled me.
That is until i lost most of my money and had to move out into a very small home. When I did this, I now understood why you need shelves. Your rooms are small, and this maximizes the space. And i ended up having to build a bunch of shelves because there wasnt space for my stuff and cabinets and stuff. I had to sell most of it.
I dont care that much, as long as i can walk and physical existance feels good because of the gym I dont care if im homeless or rich. Id rather be homeless but be able to go on runs than be rich but with a painful existance.
But now whenever I bring this up in conversation, people get violently offended for some reason. "Poor people???" "Shelves are for everyone!!!". I think most poor people think they are "middle class" because they arent homeless. But they cant even afford the taxes. Its crazy.
If you cant afford taxes, youre not middle class, youre poor.
Anyway, they somehow know that rich people also nail pieces of wood to their walls, despite the fact that theyve never seen a rich persons home. Well, let me be the one to tell you, they dont. No one does that except the poor.
I joined the facebook neighborhood and there are people just posting about crime rates and how theres so much crime. "Omg guys there was a crime". Yea no duh, were in a poor neighborhood. You get what you paid for. If this place didnt have a beautiful trail, i think living here would drive me insane.
