Four different menus to cancel my subscription.

One great thing about OSRS has always been how you can set it down for days/months/years at a time and pick it back up again as life and your motivation permits.

I did this for years. 6 months on, 4 months off, 2 months on, 12 months off, 2 years on, etc.

Life got busy and went to cancel my monthly subscription.

I am not kidding when I say I had to wade through the bulky and slow jagex menus to find "manage my subscription". Clicked cancel and thought it was over.

Nope, there is a roadmap for osrs and runescape3 that if you dont scroll to the bottom of to see "continue cancellation", you might just click out.

click continue cancellation, get a menu with deals on memberships. Scroll to the bottom for "continue cancellation", click it.

get another menu asking me why im cancelling. Click "continue cancellation" at the bottom.

get a new menu going over the details of my cancellation with "confirm cancellation" at the bottom, click.

Finally get a text about how they are sad to see me go. Yea, no shit, you made it more difficult to cancel my runescape subscription than my amazon prime one.

These scummy tactics for retention are incredibly disrespectful.

I will probably be back, as ultimately im addicted, but this just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

TLDR: Takes 2 clicks to sign up for a membership, much more headache to cancel your sub.
