How do you distract yourself in the early days? I'm 37, he's 53. 5yrs together.

I thought we were family and planning to move together and live a life together. But he basically started ignoring me and giving less and less and less these last months. I am shocked he would be so callous after so long, but it's on me to read the signs. I know people with much longer relationships divorce and disengage after a lot more than we had.

How have you kept yourself moving forward with both pain and withdrawal? I have a tendency for depression so things already are frequently touch and go for me. Your best advice and methods of distraction are welcome. I'm currently living somewhere for the next couple months to take care of family where I don't really know many people beyond the superficial. My friends all live in the city where my partner and I lived, and elsewhere.

Help. I'm sorry we're all going through it, and thank you to the humans who come back here and post good news. 🙏
