Is the game worth buying ?

I know this question probably gets asked a million times on here but i am wondering if i should spend my money on this game, because it isn’t cheap to buy both the game and its dlc. Also is there a physical version of the game with the doc included ? I love having physical copies of games (i have every souls game on disc) and i would like to have this one on disc too, should I buy it. Another question, how similar is it to the actual souls games, because i have heard countless times it is the best “soulslike” but how similar are they ? All i know is it has some sort of parrying mechanic and that the game is about puppets. No spoilers please, and thanks.
