Help me retire soon 740k, I regret not investing and sitting on cash for years
$740K portfolio across Fidelity, Robinhood, and Series I Bonds. SOFI = 22% (~$165K). $177K in FDLXX cash, $23K in Series I Bonds. Roth IRA = $10K unallocated, Rollover IRA = $108K unallocated. Want to keep SOFI but balance with growth + safety. Debating whether to keep or redeem I Bonds and how to best deploy FDLXX + unallocated Roth/Rollover in today’s market.
This is how I’m thinking? – My Simplified $740K Portfolio Plan • SOFI: Keep full position (~22% of portfolio) • FDLXX: Keep $117K as crash cash • From FDLXX – $60K over 3–4 weeks (Z30316028): • $15K SCHD (dividends) • $15K VNQ (REITs) • $15K VXUS (international) • $15K IAU (gold) • Roth IRA: $7,126 QQQM, $2,036 VOO, $1,018 VXUS • Rollover IRA: $43K BND, $43K VOO, $21K VXUS • Robinhood: Keep tech + crypto, trim overlaps later
- move series I bonds 23k and allocate them somewhere too? • Result: Aggressive growth + crash protection + income diversity
