Checking Sent Messages?

Hi all,

I work for a large company and at work we have this instant messaging system. I’ve become convinced that I will unknowingly send an inappropriate or racist message to someone and not realize it. I also worry that when I turn my phone off it will trigger some sort of “send inappropriate message” thing. It’s driving me crazy so I keep checking my messages when I log off for the day. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what you do to cope?
