Employment forms.
- Very much stealth. None of my friends know, none of their parents know, and the few teachers I had who knew only knew because I personally chose to tell them, and I plan to keep it this way.
However, the one thing I never actually got around to was a legal name change.
Its just never come up. I pass well enough that no one's ever given me a second look and no one's ever really had a need to check my id. It's an expense I just could never justify making especially as a completely independent young adult with no parental support (suprisingly unrelated to the trans thing).
But I recently got my first "real" job in a hotel and I'm supposed to be submitting all the paperwork this week. I don't know how to navigate this and it's making me nauseous. My resume, application, and interview were all under my normal name, but I know the actual start paperwork and banking info will have my birth name on them.
Can someone pls help explain how to approach this.
